Why we went Degradable over Biodegradable
Degradable plastics are oil based and break down through chemical reactions rather than the activity of microorganisms. Put simply they only start to degrade when they come into contact with pet waste rather than the elements of our environment. Where as if they were biodegradable the process of breaking down starts right away.
The bio in biodegradable means that any tiny, living organisms (even just in the air) will start the degrading process…. We would hate for our products to have been on a shelf breaking down and fail you when you go to use them. Pet Loo has you and your pet first and foremost – PERIOD!
