Nicky, you’ve been with Pup-Pee Solutions for several weeks now. What sort of response do you find that The Pet Loo, and all other products in Pup-Pee Solutions range, get in the Australian market

The Australian market is a much bigger jump from the NSW experience I have received over the past few weeks. I find that The Pet Loo is gaining significant strength in Sydney and people are actually asking questions about it, conveying their interest. There is quite an amount of call for it too, in highly populated areas and demographics with large retiree numbers and holiday makers. The Pup-Pee solutions enzyme range has been popular everywhere though, since it is so versatile, anyone can use them, not just pet owners!

What do you like best about the product range?

I like the diversity, particularly with the enzyme range, especially the new products; Pup care, Critter Care and Kitty Care. Having carefully formulated a specific product for each type of pet assures pet owners that their rabbit, hamster and ferret are just as loved and important as man’s best friend, the dog. The fact that they are multi-enzyme based and not chemical, is a great response to the pressure we are under to ease our environmental footprint. It helps that the bottles are attractive too!

How do you find working for Pup-Pee Solutions?

All of the staff at Pup-Pee Solutions have been very welcoming and keen to help me start off on the right foot. Sydney is a tough market to crack and the support from everyone has really helped me find myself in the market. Even a bad day is a good day at Pup-Pee Solutions. The company is very flexible and my colleagues understand the pressures of family life/personal life can have an affect on your working life. They lend an ear on just about anything - it's very supportive.

What is it that you love most about your position within Pup-Pee Solutions?

The face-to-face contact with the many different retail partners and their customers. Since I have worked in the industry for a few years now and am studying a Bachelor of Applied Science in Veterinary Science, I find that the knowledge I already have can be practical for customers with questions on just about anything animal related. The team at Pup-Pee really encourages me to excel with my course and to move on to postgraduate study.

How would you like to see Pup-Pee Solutions to grow in the Australian market?

Pup-Pee Solutions has great potential for expansion in Australia. Pet ownership is a popular and ever-growing niche - with high density living the norm in most cities, The Pet Loo is a great way to get on top of pet waste management. The three available sizes are handy, so it really doesn't matter what kind of pet you own, Pup-Pee has you covered. Adding to that the enzyme range, dealing with your pet's “do-do” just became a whole lot easier. I'd like to see Pup-Pee Solutions be permanently represented in each state, building even stronger rapports with customers and grow their foundations for an even bigger global expansion!
