Sandy grew up in western PA, near Pittsburgh, and attended college at Clarion University of Pennsylvania. While at Clarion, Sandy obtained a Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in Finance.

 

After college, Sandy moved to New Jersey and took a position with an investment-banking firm with a grand plan to eventually work on Wall Street.

 

Sandy worked in several other positions within the financial field but somehow never felt a real passion for it. Transitioning to a new career path, Sandy managed and was a wholesale buyer for an independent garden center in New Jersey for 5 years, eventually landing in New York city in the pet industry, working as a General Manager and east coast trainer for Unleashed by Petco.

 

“I have always loved animals and felt right at home in this new field. I proudly opened the east coast flagship store for Unleashed and trained new managers and associates for other newly opening stores”.

 

It is through Unleashed, that Sandy met our CEO Tobi Skovron and it was Tobi’s energy and pure enthusiasm for his products and in what he was doing that Sandy admired.

 

“I initially met Tobi at the grand opening of the Unleshed by Petco stores in New York City. We crossed paths again about 2 years ago in San Diego, where I had been transferred through Petco. We kept in contact with me always asking Tobi if there was anyway I could be involved in the world of Pet Loo. Lucky for me, the timing was right and eventually he said “yes” and so here I am today!!”
